4th of July always marks the height of summer activities for me. I see it as a midway mark until the fall and winter holiday season. It is one of my favorite holidays and I love being able to celebrate it with my family. Because my husband is a Marine Veteran, this is his favorite holiday and he loves celebrating America’s independence.

This year, we hosted 4th of July with our friends Colleen and Rodney. So, Coop got some more time with his girlfriend, Delaney. We just cooked out so we had burgers, brats, deviled eggs, potato salad, ceasar salad, and a delicious cookie cake made by Colleen. It was fun to spend some extra time with them and have us all be together.

Cooper loved the fireworks; Delaney, not so much. She didn’t like the loud noise but Cooper didn’t seem to mind. He seemed like he could take them or leave them but wasn’t at all bothered by them. They both looked so adorable in their 4th of July clothes!! #coopsadventures
