Well, we soaked up the last few days of summer at the St. Pete beach on Saturday! Cooper had a great time. He absolutely loved the beach and chasing the seagulls. We don’t take him to the beach much even though we live and FL and have had plenty of opportunities to do so. So, he was not used to the beach but once he warmed up, he couldn’t stop playing in the water or sand.
Cooper spent the time at the beach digging in the sand, playing with the waves, going out to the deeper ends with his dad, and chasing seagulls. He even made some friends with some women who were feeding the seagulls. He tried to help them feed the seagulls but instead of giving the birds the fries, he just ate them. Typical toddler – haha. He would giggle so loudly as the seagulls flew around him as he chased them. It was a priceless moment.
We are officially moving back to the midwest next week so I wanted to get in all the last FL activities in before we head out. The beach was one of those. To watch Cooper have fun with his dad in the water was a priceless moment. I just hope I can have similar moments with our daughter. The joy and wonder in his eyes makes days that like so perfect.
Even though me and hubby are not beach people at all, we knew that Cooper needed to experience it and know why FL is such a great place. Even though he will not remember this beach day, I will. And, I can tell him all about it when he is older and reminisce on the memories we made in FL. #coopsadventures
