Last weekend my father-in-law came to visit us. He comes every couple of months to see us and spend some time with Cooper. It gives a nice break to the midwest and we get some family time. Especially for Coop.

Cooper loves his Grandpa. They are like best buds when it comes to playing. Cooper brings him books to read and asks for him to push him in his swing outside. They even talk sports together. Cooper shows him his baseball and golf swings and they just play together. It is really sweet to watch them bond. It is something that I hope grows even more when we eventually move closer.

Even though my hubby was working almost the whole time his dad was here, they were able to spend some time together in the evenings and shortly before his flight home. They also have a great bond that I can see will translate between Cooper and my hubby. There’s just something different about a boy and his grandpa that you just don’t get with dad or mom. I can’t wait to watch their relationship grow even more! #coopsadventures
